When should we meet to talk about invitations?
It is never to early to get together and brainstorm some ideas. Otherwise, I suggest we meet 4-6 months before your wedding day or special event.
How long does it take to complete the order?
Depending on the quantity, the amount of layers and embellishments, it could take 2-4 weeks to complete your custom order.
How much do your invitations cost?
Because everything I do is custom, every invitation winds up being a different price. I suggest you let me know what your budget is so I can show you some samples of what could be in your price range.
How many should I order?
I suggest ordering at least 10 more than what you may need. It is good to have some extras just in case you need to add guests at the last minute, and they make great keepsakes.
What if I need more?
If you need more, I can usually accommodate you, but unfortunately it will wind up costing you a lot. I would have to put a rush on more paper and there are shipping charges involved. This is why I recommend ordering at least 10 more than you think you need.
When do we mail out Save the Dates?
You would normally send out Save the Dates 6 months to a year before the wedding. For destination weddings, I recommend sending them out a year ahead so your guests can make the necessary plans to be there.
When do we mail out our invitations?
You normally would send out your invitations 6-8 weeks before the wedding.
Do you require a deposit before production?
I require a non-refundable 50% deposit upon approval of your personal quote. I will need payment to clear before I can order your paper. There is a $35 fee for returned checks. Final payment is due when the order is completed.
Do you accept rush orders?
I can try to accommodate you if you need an item in a rush. Please contact me for availability and rush costs.
What is your cancellation and return policy?
Because of the custom nature of my products, I cannot accept any returns.
If you have to cancel your order, you would have to do it before final proof approval and you will not get your 50% deposit back.
What if there is a problem with my order?
I am here to make you happy, and make your order perfect. If there is an error after production is completed and it is my fault, I will fix the error at no cost to you. However, if you approved the order and there is an error on your part, I would need for you to buy the materials necessary to redo the order.
Do you design other items?
I sure do! I am a Graphic Designer, so I can design any type of graphics for you that you may use for your event. I can also design other event stationery for your big day such as programs, menus, place cards, and thank you. Please contact me if you are looking for something specific.
